David Watts, a visionary leader in the renewable energy sector, serves as Managing Partner and Co-founder of NoBull Energy, an innovative engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. With over two decades of experience in the energy industry, Watts has been instrumental in transforming NoBull Energy into an industry trailblazer. His deep expertise in project development, strategic management, and operational execution has positioned the company as a trusted partner for utilities, developers, and commercial clients seeking reliable, high-impact renewable energy solutions. 

Watts has spearheaded transformative partnerships that have elevated NoBull Energy’s capabilities and industry standing. In 2022, he attained a groundbreaking agreement with STEREOS, marking their inaugural equipment purchase in North America. This deal introduced advanced pile drivers that revolutionized fieldwork efficiency, setting a new standard for precision and speed in solar project installations. Furthering his commitment to innovation, Watts led NoBull Energy’s entry into the XBoost Partnership Program with Xpanner in January 2025, integrating smart construction technologies to optimize solar project delivery and enhance operational sustainability. 

Renowned for his forward-thinking leadership, Watts champions an unconventional approach to project contracts, prioritizing tailored terms that offer unparalleled flexibility to meet clients’ financial, scheduling, and supply chain requirements. His commitment to transparency, integrity, and collaboration has earned him a reputation as a trusted partner. A graduate of Bradley University, Watts combines technical acumen with a passion for sustainability, driving NoBull Energy’s mission to deliver cost-effective, scalable, and environmentally responsible energy solutions. Doug Pickering

Doug Pickering is a Managing Partner and Co-founder of NoBull Energy, a leading renewable-focused engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company based in Indianapolis, Indiana. With extensive experience in the energy sector, Pickering has contributed in building NoBull Energy’s reputation to deliver successful projects, while also leading NoBull Energy’s sister company, Nomad Infrastructure. Nomad Infrastructure delivers global industrial and EPC projects spanning energy, carbon/waste strategies, and manufacturing.  The combined broad offerings of both companies offer a comprehensive portfolio of services to a myriad of customers and markets. 

His experience as a leader in the utility and construction sectors served as the foundation for understanding and managing projects from development to completion, forged relations that have become strategic partnerships, and championed field operational execution. Known for his pragmatic and results-oriented approach, Pickering emphasizes customized project solutions that support each client’s unique financial, scheduling, and supply chain needs. His leadership fosters transparency and adaptability which has resulted in his companies becoming known as trusted partners in the renewable energy industry.  

A graduate of Indiana University, and the Rose Holman Institute of Technology, Pickering combines technical expertise with a passion for advancing clean energy solutions. His active engagement in industry events and collaborations with stakeholders underscores his dedication to accelerating the global transition to renewable energy.
